Now I can sort 200,000 records inside of Browser (Chrome) just in 1 sec. (Faster than Microsoft Excel):

yeah, I'm expecting a linux version. I know ff3 really works, and I like it very much, specially ubiquity is the addon I'm waiting for years.

Google chrome is an attractive product. I just wanna try. I might still use ff, but I wanna a try.

that's it, but they have no linux. Damn.

I just hope they don't do the same thing they did with Picasa, write it for Windows and then the Linux version is just a port through Wine.

They are releasing for Linux and Mac, although they're behind the Windows version (understandably. Together, they're less than one tenth the market share of Windows).

The comic is a good read. It seems like they have a good take on the UI and the roll of the browser, not to mention some interesting architectural changes. I can't wait for the beta.

yeah well...That doesn't matter to me much if the linux version will be a truly functioning one.

Linux already has Firefox3 and I'd bet that the Chrome will take some time to get things going. And still, Chrome is still only a beta-version.

Tuomas,

I agree with you. But I guess worst case scenario will be that the Linux version will be release on a later date compared to its windows sibling.

I would think that there would be a Linux version, because even the Google developers and staff use Ubuntu. *fingers crossed*
