Double Answered Prayers - One month to go!
In case someone reading this blog still does not know, I will be tying the know with my fiance on our wedding day on September 9, 2006. its less the one month to go and we are starting to cram a few details into our ever busy schedule. Things are piling up again on Maia’s side since this will be their busy month so going home late would be a common thing. Not that I love going home late but I know we are being purified by these various sacrifices and I bet that God is preparing us to do great things because of the sacrifices we are doing right now.
Anyways on my side, although its not really that heavy when it comes to my work load, I am starting grow weary of some politics in our office. (to Any Zimmie reading this blog, you might as well approach me in private before you start jumping into conclusions). So now, back to the “one month to go”, the past two weeks was plagued with uncertainty for the both us since we have two major hurdles that we need to overcome.
The Hurdles
First, is the prenuptial picture taking with Paul Vincent Delos Reyes. Our issue here that we are unable to pick a good place where we can have our pictorial. Since we do not really want to go really far just to have our pictures taken. And besides, it is the rainy season. So any beautiful morning can easily turn into terrible rainy and wet afternoon. With God’s Grace and Paul Vincent’s excellent photography talent, our prenuptial pictorial was a great success.
Second hurdle is a place to stay in after the wedding day. I personally believe that we SHOULD NOT go home to any of our parents place after wedding and / or the honeymoon. So as early as March 2006, we were already discussing finding a new home. however, finding a new proved to be major chore as it was only until last friday that we were able to see ray of hope. A certain apartment unit in Barangay Kapitolyo was posted for rent in www.buyandsellph.com. Maia was able to contact the Landlord who turned out to be wonderful gentleman. After a major issues with the contact numbers, I finally landed a deal with Mr Benedict Aguinaldo and guess what? we finally made the initial payment today!
So whats the Hey?!
So what does all this mean? I believe that despite our busy schedule, were constantly guided and loved by God. Why? Because I know that He practically handed us the solutions to TWO of our major hurdles. Mind you, we did just receive it. We had to reach out and take / receive it from God’s graceful hands. I mean we didn’t just sit back and enjoyed the ride. We had to do some work and GOD did the rest! I tell you these things really work!
I love God. I and will continously work for Him.
