I just can’t to get some sleep. I am trying to sort through all the things that are flooding into my head: My career in DirectWithHotels Ltd, a good business plan that will provide adequate passive income for me and Maia, how much I need to learn to be an effective system / network administrator, my upcoming wedding. When I try to sort things out, I feel overwhelmed. I just wish that I can get my act together on time for some serious work.

Putting Some WIGS (Wildly Important Goals) into Place

Here is a partial list of items I’d like to accomplish atleast for this year(whats left of it).

  1. Complete a good guide on how to setup an Home / Office network based on open source technologies. This means all of the software that will be used will be either freeware or open source. My goal here is that my guide should be not only to help setup a network but also teach newbies some basics on Home / Office networking.
  2. Get a good Web Hosting so I can start practicing my web design / development skills. Since I love fiddling with web-based applications, I believe it is only natural that I develop these skills. I maybe be able to provide customization of open source web applications as a service later on.
  3. Setup a small website that which can be the home community site of all christians. I would like to call it Blessed-lantern.org since it will help shine God’s glory to everyone online. hmmm… I guess i should start designingn and making sure there will be content.
  4. Stabilize our finances after our wedding this September 9, 2006.
  5. Become Fit as a fiddle! (yeah yeah I know). Less on the unhealthy and more on the exercises. Need to work on this.
  6. Get my service running again. Can’t really blame work, but it IS depending too much time. Not that I don’t like it. But still, everyone is right, I need to have a service.

Guess things will start to materialize after some time. But my golly, its been 4 months and things haven’t materialize. Hay! No Comment.
