Urduja. I love watching Full Featured Animated films! From those kiddie Disney films to the other more serious Spawn type films I love watching them. I even dreamed that someday i’d make my own Full Featured Animated Film. You know, create my own characters render them and finally put them in the movie houses!

Alas, as I grew up I realized that animation isn’t my talent. But I am still hoping that someone will be able to churn out a Full Featured Animated Film that will rival the industry giants! Enter Urduja a Full Featured Filipino Animated Film produced by Tony Tuviera’s APT Entertainment.

Urduja features an impressive array of top notch (well not all) voice artists:

• Regine Velasquez – stars as Princess Urduja
• Cesar Montano – stars as Lim hang the lover of Urduja.
• Johnny Delgado – as Wang.
• Eddie Garcia – as Lakanpati.
• Michael V and Allan K – as the comical Kutkut and Tarsir.

Watching the Teaser Trailer of Urduja is quite promising but I feel that it was heavily influenced by Disney movies. Urduja in my opinion seems like a cross between Disney’s Pocahontas and Mulan. This isnt necesarily bad and I feel it was beautifully done. I am looking forward to this Full Featured Film in the movies. Feel Free to watch the trailer here.
